Honestly I don't blog on Deviant Art.  I leave that up to my actual blog.  Some I've written in the past might be helpful or amusing to other artists, so I thought that I would share them here.

In an ancient time of magic and mystery, a prophecy is foretold of a princess, who will brave great trials to bring about peace to her world. Dark forces stir against the prophesied child from the moment of her birth, and actions must be taken to protect and conceal her from those who would seek to end the child and the prophecy. After living in relative peace for most of her childhood, times change and hardships befall the kingdom. Her realm is torn apart by war, and the grown princess, Islene consents to marry a prince in hopes of peace. This act sets the wheels of prophecy in motion, bringing her closer to her destiny, and the world of magic. Her journey is one of self discovery and growth, for herself and those around her, including the magical creatures that she encounters. Artemis Rising Productions has gathered together its extensive talent and resources to produce an amazing tale, worthy of the Brothers Grimm. However, this is not your typical Princess story. Characters develop and grow. Worlds and kingdoms collide. Secrets are kept and revealed, making this a truly compelling saga.

It is our intention to show our fans and investors, through an epic trailer, the same high quality that we intend to bring to the series itself. This fundrazr will help pay the talented professionals that we have on board to produce this ambitious, but amazing trailer that will help us achieve the ultimate goal of making the series a reality. We will use this trailer as one of our primary means of garnering attention and funding for the series.

Matt Shumway is on board as our Visual FX consultant, helping us to navigate the tricky waters of green screen and CGI. Matt currently works for Industrial Light and Magic and previously worked for Rhythm and Hues. You may recognize some of his work in Life of Pi, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, The Golden Compass and many more.

Roy Wooley will be bringing our mythical and magical creatures to life. You may remember him from Syfy's hit series Face Off, or at least his hat. He's back on for this current season as a Veteran to challenge new contestants.

Carrie Anne Hunt stars as the lead and brings her classical training and film experience to shape this web series into a work of art. A hard-working actress, Carrie Anne is best known for her role as "Sophy Hopkey" in the historical epic Wesley . Other projects to watch for Carrie Anne in include: Season 3 of Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva as "Summer", The Persephone Series as "Persephone", and Edgar Allen Poe's Mystery Theatre as "Virginia Poe".
