To BE or not to BE To be or not to be, that is the question. Tis nobler to suffer pain and live, than to hide behind the mask of a hypocrite... When life has failed, do they lift the veil and see what lies beneath, or do they cover their face and cry for their suppers?

Hypocrites live their lives playing pretend, as oversized children performing a part, crying when they do not get their way and lamenting and feigning to conceal their pretense and intent. They never know what it is to truly be something as they do what they think they should, or what they have been told to do, without ever feeling what it is to truly be it.

Basking in the sun together, these two experience what it means to be kindred at heart. This elf maiden with the heart of a lion, lets the light warm her face while enjoying the peaceful company of her soul sister.

Originally drawn in ink and painted in watercolor on watercolor board, the painting measured 11x14 inches.

One Day at a Time If I can make it through this night,
perhaps the dawn will bring insight.
